Manchester City are plotting a move to poach Chelsea’s highly-rated teenager Connor Hunte.
The Blues are facing a battle to keep hold of their teenage midfielder – whose style of play has been likened to Germany playmaker Mesut Ozil.
City scouts have kept a close eye on the 16-year-old and are now ready to step up their interest in Hunte.
The starlet has played three times for England Under 17’s and has been tipped for big things by Academy staff at Chelsea’s Cobham HQ.
Chelsea will be keen to keep hold of Hunte given his vast potential.
City would be required to pay the Blues a compensation fee should the switch come to fruition.
